CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM
By embracing alternative perspectives, we can gain valuable insights into life and ourselves. Our cultural exchange programs aim to expand understanding and facilitate meaningful experiences.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our exchange programs with the Shanenawá. This community has unique experiences and worldviews, which they are eager to share with individuals from other cultures.
Our exchange program with the Shanenawá community is meticulously planned, with annual activities already scheduled. Furthermore, the community is well-equipped to host visitors in their village, with a flexible schedule. Apart from village activities, participants can also engage in events hosted by the Shanenawá in other Brazilian cities and Costa Rica. Learn more about our initiatives and ongoing activities below.
With over 17 years of experience working with forest medicine, particularly Ayahuasca and Jurema, Txai Edu has spent considerable time visiting diverse communities and spaces. Presently, Txai Edu collaborates with shamans from the Shanenawá people, having studied and worked in partnership with them since January 2023. Their efforts have enabled them to organize healing and cultural exchange activities beyond Brazil, exposing individuals to the culture, medicine, people, and shamans of the Shanenawá people.
At present, a wide range of events such as retreats, festivals, ceremonies, traditional healing sessions (pajelanças), cultural exchange activities, and Diets, among others, are held in numerous states in Brazil, including Aldeia Kené Merá in the Amazon Forest, and in Costa Rica, with options to schedule and participate.

PRIVATE CEREMONY
Since 2007, I have devoted myself to the practice of administering Ayahuasca medicine to those in need of healing. Throughout this journey, I have had the privilege of serving over 1000 individuals. As one of the trailblazers of this medicine in Venezuela, I served voluntarily, actively promoting the use of ancestral medicines, and increasing general awareness about it.
In addition to administering Ayahuasca medicine, I have had the opportunity to learn how to cook for many different experiences, leading groups on trips to Brazil, visiting various villages, and gaining exposure to different traditions and people. After years of service, I discovered Jurema's medicine, which required extensive study before I could begin to use it. I was fortunate to be able to introduce this medicine to Venezuela, where it was unknown until then. Currently, there are people who are knowledgeable about this medicine and continue to serve as messengers, bringing healing, knowledge, and love to many both inside and outside the country.
Today, I conduct private and group ceremonies, retreats, immersions in the forest, and "feitio" experiences to cook medicine. With extensive experience administering Ayahuasca, I am continually studying this medicine's mysteries with Pajé Maná Shanenawá. I am also knowledgeable about Jurema medicine, a lesser-known tradition than Ayahuasca, but one that has brought profound healing to many people. I feel immensely happy and honored to be able to take this medicine and be recognized for the wonderful results it has brought about in the lives of many through this work.
The offered program has two primary objectives. The first aims to provide participants with an opportunity for self-discovery, improved health, and overall growth. This is achieved through a transformative experience and exposure to ancestral wisdom and knowledge.
The second focus is more tailored towards addressing specific health concerns. We commence with an initial consultation to assess the individual's unique needs and subsequently refer them to the most appropriate treatment. Our approach is candid and transparent, ensuring that patients understand the nature and limitations of the work.
The specific healing treatments, referred to as pajelança, are administered directly by the shamans of the forest. I am involved in different stages of the process, ensuring that patients receive everything necessary to facilitate their cure.
Sacred word CeremonY
In short, we could define the mambeadeiro as a word ceremony. Going a little deeper, we can consider it as the methodological basis for the development of tribal organizations and to this day, as the central element that maintains community connection in many tribes.
Sitting around the fire and sharing the word is considered humanity's oldest medicine. Many traditions around the world make reference to this practice, through which it was possible for humanity to develop knowledge, generate solutions to different problems and transmit the wisdom and experiences acquired, allowing its continuity and improvement over time.
This practice is quite widespread in the Colombian Sierra Nevada, and is currently known and practiced by different tribes in the country. For the case of our study, we are using Spiral IE as a reference, which in turn is based on the ancestral wisdom of the Kogui people.
The Kogui consider themselves human beings of their word, they consider words to be their main medicine and through knowledge and correct use of the word, they create and recreate their culture and their existence in general.
We have a lot that could be said about this incredible ancestral tool, that's why we are creating this space, for now online and with some face-to-face activities so that we can share how to use this tool for individual development, family harmonization and community strengthening.
These meetings will be focused on sharing knowledge, creating a space for exchange and listening, as well as strengthening bonds of friendship, brotherhood, family and community. It is a safe space, free from judgement, open to doubts, to not knowing, to being who we are, a space of the heart, thought and realized to learn, heal and grow together.
Please reach out if you are interested in participating.
