CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

By embracing alternative perspectives, we can gain valuable insights into life and ourselves. Our cultural exchange programs aim to expand understanding and facilitate meaningful experiences.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our exchange programs with the Shanenawá. This community has unique experiences and worldviews, which they are eager to share with individuals from other cultures.

Our exchange program with the Shanenawá community is meticulously planned, with annual activities already scheduled. Furthermore, the community is well-equipped to host visitors in their village, with a flexible schedule. Apart from village activities, participants can also engage in events hosted by the Shanenawá in other Brazilian cities and Costa Rica. Learn more about our initiatives and ongoing activities below.

With over 17 years of experience working with forest medicine, particularly Ayahuasca and Jurema, Txai Edu has spent considerable time visiting diverse communities and spaces. Presently, Txai Edu collaborates with shamans from the Shanenawá people, having studied and worked in partnership with them since January 2023. Their efforts have enabled them to organize healing and cultural exchange activities beyond Brazil, exposing individuals to the culture, medicine, people, and shamans of the Shanenawá people.
At present, a wide range of events such as retreats, festivals, ceremonies, traditional healing sessions (pajelanças), cultural exchange activities, and Diets, among others, are held in numerous states in Brazil, including Aldeia Kené Merá in the Amazon Forest, and in Costa Rica, with options to schedule and participate.
